Our process for this repair
- 1. We confirm the model and whether the cell is swollen — that changes how we open it.
- 2. The old battery comes out; the new one is seated and connected.
- 3. Typical time is 25–40 minutes.
- 4. We charge it on the bench so you can see it take a charge.
Genuine vs aftermarket parts
We use new cells with a stated capacity close to the original. They are not Apple or Samsung branded. If you want a genuine branded cell we will say whether we can get one and what it costs.
