Genuine vs aftermarket parts
Aftermarket cells are the default. They restore everyday life. A genuine Apple battery, when available, is priced separately. Important: after a non-Apple cell, newer iPhones may show “Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple battery.” The phone still charges and works.
